About Me

Hi there and welcome to my blog!

My name is Claire and I’m currently a senior at the College of William and Mary majoring in Hispanic Studies.

In college I have been fortunate enough to foster my love many things, including but not limited to learning languages, petting sheep, participating in aquatic sports, jogging slowly and eating pizza without cheese on it.

I’ve also discovered that despite my penchant for feeling sick on most forms of transportation, I’m a big fan of travel.  Many of my best collegiate experiences have come time spent abroad.  I’ve become a confident Spanish speaker and a conversational Italian speaker, learned to enjoy the experience of traveling alone, lived with wonderful host families, tried approximately forty different flavors of gelato, and most importantly, formed lasting friendships.

Through William and Mary study abroad programs I’ve been able to spend a month in Florence Italy, a semester in Spain and am now headed out to spend a semester at the University of Nottingham in Nottingham, England.  One of my biggest regrets is not writing more things down about previous experiences abroad, so look out for lots of posts in the coming weeks and find out if I become smitten with Britain.

Hope you enjoy!

Claire
